Auto Accidents
I've been in an accident! What do I do?
If you are bleeding, have bones sticking out of your skin, or are on fire go DIRECTLY to the emergency room.
If you are sore, achy, and stiff, see me as soon as you can. If you have shooting pain in your arms or legs, you need evaluation very quickly. I can do it, but if you can't see me within one or two days, go to the E/R. If you feel fine right after the accident but wake up the next day feeling sore and achy, you are experiencing what most people experience.
Treatment for auto & work injuries is covered 100% by insurance.
No out of pocket expense for the patient.
Early intervention is a key predictor for recovery.
I have 22 years of experience working with patients who have injuries from car accidents or work accidents. The types of forces and the injuries they cause are unique and require examination and treatment from a trained, experienced professional.
My methods for soft tissue reconditioning and rehabilitation are especially useful in cases of whiplash, disc injury, torn muscle, lower back injury, hand and wrist injury.
In addition, I have extensive experience working with insurance companies and attorneys to make sure that your condition gets taken seriously and your claims get paid.
In 2013, I earned advanced certification in Whiplash and Auto Injury Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.
The Spine Research Institute of San Diego is the premier facility for research and training in the fields of auto injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.
I also have postgraduate training in the specialized field of work-related injury. Worker's Compensation carriers in Oregon require specialized documentation and reporting requirements. Make sure your provider knows how to communicate with them, or your claim might be jeopardized.
