Arthritis

Dr. Russ treats a patient for arthritis
There is hope for creaky knees
(and shoulders and backs and hips)!

Joints are mechanical structures, and as such, they wear out over time. The cartilage gets thin and provides less shock absorption, the ligaments get brittle and less flexible, and the muscles get tighter, shorter, and weaker.

Though this process is a natural part of aging, it doesn’t need to take over your life.

We have a wide range of tools that will help relieve aching, soreness, and stiffness, restore mobility and strength, and help get the joint back to normal activity.

Typical arthritis treatment plans incorporate a combination of massage, exercise, adjustments, home care and nutrient supplementation. Our goal is to teach you how to care for the joints yourself.

Since arthritis takes many forms, your treatment plan will be tailored to your specific condition and your goals. And of course, if we feel we cannot help you, we can direct you to the right resources to get the help you need. If you would like to ask Dr. Russ about your condition and how we might approach it, call or text us, or send Dr. Russ an email.
